KTM and Pierer continue to rely on Neumeister

The Pierer Mobility AG (future: Bajaj Mobility AG) and the KTM AG have the contract of CEO Gottfried Neumeister extended early until December 31, 2028.

Following the change of control on November 18, 2025, the confirmation is a “clear signal of the group’s strategic independence” under new ownership, the company announced on Monday evening.

“Great appreciation”

Neumeister accepted the trust “with great appreciation” and, together with his new board colleagues, wanted to shape KTM’s return “to a clear growth path,” the manager was quoted as saying.

The focus is on implementing the strategy of simplifying processes and concentrating on the motorcycle market. In order to be able to dedicate himself “fully” to the restructuring of the KTM Group, he has agreed with the new majority owner to soon step down from all functions outside the Bajaj Group.

Supervisory board chairman Srinivasan Ravikumar referred to Neumeister’s performance in “a very difficult phase”. Neumeister has been Co-CEO of Pierer Mobility AG since September 1, 2024 and CEO since January 23, 2025.
