The combined wealth of the ten richest tech billionaires in the United States increased by more than $550 billion in 2025, reaching nearly $2.5 trillion, up from about $1.9 trillion at the beginning of the year, the Financial Times writes, citing calculations from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

As the FT notes, the growth in wealth occurred during a period of active global investment in AI (chips, data centers, AI products) and a rally in markets: the S&P 500 index gained almost 18% in 2025.

Among the beneficiaries of the boom, FT names Elon Musk (growth of his fortune by about 50%, to $645 billion) and Nvidia founder Jensen Huang (growth to $156 billion), as well as Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Steve Ballmer, Bill Gates and Michael Dell.
