Stora Enso’s demerger process is moving forward – Proposals for the board of the new forest company have been announced

Forestry company Stora Enso has announced the proposed members for the new forest property company, which is to be separated from the current company. The division is expected to take place in the first half of 2027.

Stora Enso’s nomination committee proposes a new chairman of the company’s board Johan Trolle-Löwenwhich operates as a Swedish forestry and agricultural company Sjösa Administration as CEO.

His addition to the board is proposed Jannica Fagerholmia, Helen Fasth Gillstedtia, Magnus Fernströmia, From Timo Mäki and Catharina Stackelberg-Hammarénia.

The proposed board members will be appointed to the first board of the new company if the extraordinary general meeting deciding on the division of Stora Enso approves the proposal.
