René Benkos Liquidator Andreas Grabenweger has one interim injunction against the Ingbe Foundation which reaches Benkos. This means that the Liechtenstein foundation is no longer allowed to distribute money to beneficiaries for the time being.
Grabenweger confirmed that WHAT a corresponding report from the Crown newspaper (on-line). The decision of the Princely Regional Court in Vaduz is not final and appeals are still possible.
According to media reports, the Ingbe Foundation’s total assets are estimated at up to 300 million euros. From Grabenweger’s point of view, the foundation is said to have been used as “Mr. Benko’s private bank, as a savings bank,” it quotes Crown newspaper from the bankruptcy trustee’s lawsuit. Officially, the insolvent entrepreneur and Signa founder Benko was no longer a beneficiary.
Creditors of the insolvent company founder are looking at the presumed assets in the private foundations that are attributed to the Benkos. The investigators from the Economic and Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (WKStA) are also investigating the role of the foundations in the Benko family’s environment in the extensive Signa case.
