The agreement was signed by Israeli Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter and Indian Fisheries and Livestock Minister Rajeev Singh on the sidelines of the Blue Food Security: Look to the Future 2026 conference in India.
“Blue foods” are products derived from aquatic animals, plants or algae that are caught or cultivated in freshwater and marine environments.
The Indian delegation also visited the National Marine Aquaculture Center in Eilat and the SeaNovation Innovation Center and viewed the center’s facilities and research programs, including breeding stock, hatchery technologies, integrated multitrophic aquaculture models and innovative approaches to disease control.
