Cocoons for infants: “Ma petite laine” is looking for a partner in the M6 ​​show

“We applied in 2023 and 2024. This time it’s the right one! », smiles Olivia Guyard. With Agathe Verrier, they invented the birth cocoon in wool 100% made in France. Their concept? Replace the simple sleeping bag, by placing the baby in a cocoon which reminds the infant of the sensations he could feel in utero. Guarantee of better sleep. This January 29, they will try to convince the jurors of the show “Who wants to be my partner?” », on M6.

Created in 2022, their company, Ma petite laine, has continued to grow since then. More than 80% growth in 2025 and a turnover of 550,000 euros. “The target for 2026 is 1.6 million euros. And, to achieve it, you have to structure the company well. We are at a pivotal moment. Finding a partner would mean finding financial support, but above all a network that would allow us to develop other distribution channels. The experience of the professionals on this show would save us precious time,” concedes Olivia Guyard, an engineer in the agricultural world.

“Ma petite laine” has developed in Italy, Belgium and Germany, but always with individuals. “We are participating in this show to continue to develop internationally but this time by targeting businesses and possibly going to other distribution channels than the website: sales in physical stores, such as childcare stores or pharmacies,” explains Olivia.

“The show forced us to have a more precise vision”

The Châteaudun company now offers a range of cocoons with different materials, but also a blanket or even a sleeping bag for after the cocoon. “We aim to create new products, always remaining in our DNA which is the sleep of babies, but also of the whole family. We have lots of ideas and lots of projects in mind. But the M6 ​​show forced us to have a more precise long-term vision, on growth, profitability, production” analyzes Olivia.

With Agathe Verrier, pediatric physiotherapist, they prepared like athletes before an event. “We anticipated a whole bunch of questions. We had pasted the photos of potential investors on the walls of our offices to better put ourselves in the situation. »
