According to Kpler, a company specializing in commodity market analysis, in 2025, supplies of Azerbaijani oil to Israel increased by 31% compared to 2024 and amounted to 94 thousand barrels per day.
Azerbaijan accounts for 46.4% of oil purchases by Israel. In second place among suppliers is Russia with 28%. Other major oil suppliers to Israel include Kazakhstan and the United States. Also, according to Kpler, oil imports into Israel from Nigeria have increased sharply, while oil purchases from Brazil, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo have ceased.
Azerbaijani oil enters Israel through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, from where it is delivered by tankers to Ashkelon, despite the formal Turkish ban on trade with Israel and on the use of Turkish ports for trade with Israel. Reuters quoted Kpler analysts as saying ships leaving Turkey’s Ceyhan to deliver oil to Israel typically turn off their trackers and report other destinations to maritime authorities.
