Elbit bought a British Army UAV supplier and received a new order from Chile

According to the official statement of the concern’s management, the deal is designed to transform UTACS into a leading UK and regional center of excellence. The new center will focus on the design, development and logistics support of unmanned systems, with deep integration of Elbit’s global experience and unique technological capabilities.

The statement also stressed that one of the central aspects of the acquisition plan is the retention and development of a skilled workforce in the UK.

Also this week, Elbit Maarahot won a tender to supply the Chilean armed forces with control and combat simulators for armored personnel carrier crews. The deal was announced less than a month after the change of power in the country, where the previous administration of socialist Gabriel Boric was extremely anti-Israel.
