The Chinese Shengfa Chemical Group announced that it intends to invest two billion dollars in value-added phosphate industries in Egypt, by establishing the group’s largest industrial center outside China. The Chinese Shengfa Group is the largest producer of phosphorous chemicals in the world. The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources explained that company officials announced their intention to implement this huge investment in Egypt, during a discussion session with Engineer Karim Badawy, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, which included a delegation from the Chinese “Xingfa” Chemicals Group, headed by Cheng Yali, Chairman of the group, Ma Weibin, General Manager of the Africa Region, and Engineer Yasser Hosni, President of Access Partner Company.
