The road rage occurred on Koningin Fabiolalaan, where two drivers wanted to cross each other. One car had to stop briefly and reverse. According to the lawyer of one of the directors, this led to a discussion.
“The other driver got out of his car, pulled open my client’s car door and beat him. A witness saw everything and intervened.”
“Banal cause”
According to the suspect’s lawyer, the incident had a banal cause. The defendant admits that he crossed the line, but according to him the other driver suddenly stopped and started accusing him. The victim stated exactly the opposite.
The judge must make the decision by March 6. The prosecutor is asking for six months in prison and a 400 euro fine as an appropriate punishment. The suspect asks for leniency.
