S&P gives Daman a rating of “A” with a stable outlook

Standard & Poor’s assigned the long-term credit rating to National Insurance Company “Daman” a grade of “A” with a stable outlook. The agency explained that “Daman” is considered one of the leading insurance companies in the Emirates, and that its operational performance is in line with its counterparts classified at the “A” level. The agency believes that the role of “Daman” is important, given its contribution to achieving the goals and policies related to providing health care to UAE citizens and their family members. According to insurance revenues, Daman is the largest health insurance provider in the UAE and the third largest insurance company overall. During the first nine months of 2025, the company recorded insurance revenues of 5.4 billion dirhams, an increase of 6%.
