Customers waited for an answer for more than six minutes – Bezeq Beinleumi will pay a fine of 650 thousand shekels

As part of inspections carried out in three different periods, it was found that the company systematically violated licensing requirements – both in terms of the maximum permissible average waiting time for an operator response, and in terms of the maximum permissible proportion of calls in which the wait exceeded 6 minutes.

The Ministry of Communications emphasizes that in all the customer service centers examined and in all periods, not a single case was recorded in which Bezeq Beinleumi complied with the established requirements. We are talking about a repeated violation: previously, the Ministry of Communications already pointed out the non-compliance of the company’s service centers with the requirements.

Most of the company’s arguments about the disproportionate nature of the measure, the impact of the security situation and the damage to its revenues were considered and rejected. The ministry said that in the coming days they intend to publish data on verification of response times from communication companies.
