Foamit’s profit increased to 1.6 million euros

Specialized in foam glass production and glass recycling Foamitin turnover increased to 21.1 million euros in the second half of 2025. The turnover at the same time a year earlier was 21.8 million euros.

During July–December, Foamit’s operating profit increased to 1.6 million euros. In the comparison period, the operating result was 0.2 million euros.

Foamit’s EBITDA improved in the second half of the year to 3.9 million euros. In July–December 2024, EBITDA was 2.4 million euros.

Earnings per share rose to EUR 0.03 per share. In the second half of the previous year, the profit per share was EUR 0.0 per share.

Foamit’s board of directors proposes to the general meeting that a dividend of EUR 0.01 per share be paid for the financial year 2025. For the fiscal year 2024, a dividend of EUR 0.11 per share was paid.

Managing director Erja Sankari describes 2025 as a turning point for the company. On October 1, 2025, the company changed its name to Foamit Oyj, and according to Sankari, the development activities carried out in the company were quickly reflected in the result. The EBITDA of the business increased by 18 percent and the order backlog by 28 percent as a result of the measures.

The goal is a turnover of 100 million

Foamit is aiming for a turnover of 100 million euros and an EBIT margin of more than 20 percent by the end of 2028. The company does not provide short-term prospects due to the implementation of the strategy and ongoing change projects.

The construction cycle is expected to remain challenging in 2026, especially in housing construction. However, growth potential is seen in infrastructure construction, which is supported by public investments in the Nordic countries and projects created by the defense industry and the geopolitical situation.
