The price of electricity will decrease slightly on Saturday, but will remain at a high level

The average hourly price of exchange electricity for consumers (incl. VAT 25.5 percent) will remain at a high level on Saturday.

The highest price of the day, 19.0 cents per kilowatt hour, is seen in the evening at 6 p.m. Even at its lowest price, electricity costs 12.7 cents per kilowatt hour at 6 a.m. in the morning.

The hourly prices stated in the article are averages calculated from the four quarter-hour prices for each hour. The electricity exchange Nord Pool switched to 15-minute pricing from the beginning of October 2025.

The price level drops slightly from Friday, when a rare price spike was experienced. On Friday afternoon at 6 p.m., the price was 24.4 cents per kilowatt hour.
