In Israel, an acceleration in the growth of housing prices has again been recorded: according to the Central Bank, in November-December 2025, apartment prices increased by 0.8% compared to the previous two-month period (October-November), when the increase was 0.6%.
Thus, the last two indices of 2025 have recovered approximately half of the decline observed since February 2025 (the total drop was estimated at 1.4%).
According to Globes, the main contribution to the overall price increase was made by the Tel Aviv district (+2%), while the Southern district added 1%, Jerusalem and North – 0.4% each, Haifa – 0.3%, and the Central district showed no changes.
Separately, there is a divergence in rental indicators: the “accommodation services index” decreased by 0.2%, but rental rates for those who changed apartments or entered into a contract for the first time jumped by 6% – this is the maximum since October 2023. The average rent in Israel in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to the Central Bank, was 4,990 shekels per month (an increase of 3.6% by the fourth quarter of 2024).
