Clothing chain LolaLiza has new owners after 25 years

LolaLiza is a Belgian women’s fashion brand that was founded 25 years ago by the Appelstein and Jeger families. Until today, the company remained in the hands of the founders. The chain has 90 stores, mainly in Belgium but also some in France and Luxembourg, and 500 employees. The annual turnover is approximately 115 million euros.

The fashion sector is having a hard time, as evidenced by the latest IKKS bankruptcy. LolaLiza is confident that it can demonstrate that “sustainable growth remains possible, thanks to a clear strategy, strong agility and a long-term vision”.

The new owners, who have been at the helm of LolaLiza for several years, emphasize that the takeover does not represent a change in direction, but rather confirms confidence in the brand. Agility and speed remain essential, it sounds: LolaLiza launches new products every week. Last year, three new stores were added and the e-commerce platform was completely technologically renewed. LolaLiza plans additional store openings and further optimization of its digital channels in the future.
