INPS says goodbye to paper: how to pay housekeepers and carers

The journey continues digitalisation of services dedicated to domestic employers. This is underlined byInps explaining that it intends to complete the process in 2026 dematerialization of contributions per housekeeper, carers e baby-sitterprogressively overcoming the paper sending of payment forms and making available to users an integrated system of digital and territorial channels for payment through payPAthe national platform for payments to the Public Administration.

Since last month theInps no longer sends i paper bulletins per i domestic employers under 76 years of age who had previously requested postal delivery. For the current year only, employers aged 76 or over will continue to receive the annual letter, as an accompanying measure in the transition phase to online service. The objective is to encourage a gradual transition towards simpler, traceable and always available tools.

The INPS payment portal and online methods

The main access point to the payment service for domestic workers and carers is the institutional website www.inps.itin the “Payment Portal – Domestic Workers” section. Through the online servicethe employer can generate and print the notice payPAmake the payment directly online with credit or debit card, running story or other instruments provided by the circuit payPAas well as consult and reprint receipts for payments already made.

Other payment channels available

Next to the online channell’INPS guarantees the possibility of paying also at banks, post offices and other payment service providers participating in payPAusing the warning code or the QR code present on the notice itself. You can also make the payment via home bankingeven through the circuit CBILLfor the banks that provide it.
