Artificial intelligence is being tested in hundreds of restaurants in the United States.

Fast food chain In the United States, Burger King is experimenting with artificial intelligence to monitor employee behavior. The issue was reported by, among others, the British Broadcasting Company BBC and specialized in technology The Verge -media.

According to the media, the artificial intelligence connected to the employees’ headsets compiles “kindness points” in the chain’s restaurants based on the employees’ conversations.

Artificial intelligence evaluates the friendliness of individual restaurants by, among other things, how often employees say thank you or please.

Burger King however, artificial intelligence is not designed to record conversations or evaluate the activities of individual employees.

According to the media, artificial intelligence is being tested in five hundred Burger King restaurants in the United States. The BBC reports that artificial intelligence is analyzing conversations that take place with customers in restaurant drive-thru lanes.

Artificial intelligence also answers employees’ questions about food preparation, for example. The artificial intelligence also informs if the restaurant needs more food ingredients.

According to the BBC, all Burger King restaurants in the United States would be ready to use artificial intelligence by the end of this year. According to Ketju, the aim is to use artificial intelligence to streamline restaurant operations and improve customer service.
