French sailors stranded by the dozen in the Persian Gulf: “They see the war with their own eyes”

Within range of missiles or explosive drones, they remain stuck on boats which can no longer cross the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow arm of the sea taking its name from the small island located on its Iranian shore and which allows passage from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman. Due to the threat from the mullahs’ regime, this route is de facto closed to maritime traffic.
