Google announced the purchase of Wiz without mentioning that it was an Israeli company

We are talking about the largest purchase of an Israeli company in history, and the largest purchase in the history of Google.

The deal will bring between $2 billion and $3 billion to each of the company’s four founders – Asaf Rappaport (CEO), Inon Kostika (VP Product), Ami Lutwak (VP Technology) and Roy Resnick (VP R&D).

Wiz’s 1,800 employees will also receive significant amounts of money, which could reach millions of dollars for long-time workers.

Although Wiz is registered as an American company and is headquartered in New York, the vast majority of its employees are Israeli. Therefore, the deal is a macroeconomic event for Israel and will bring between 13 and 18 billion shekels to the state treasury.
