STOCK EXCHANGE: Neste and Kone rose on the Helsinki Stock Exchange

Helsinki stock marketn’s general index rose to 13,089 points on Tuesday, i.e. 0.9 percent higher than yesterday’s closing reading. Stock markets ended up rising in other parts of Europe as well, and were rising in the United States when the Helsinki Stock Exchange closed.

Kone was last interested in the same business in 2020. According to financial media, the owners of TK Elevator wanted 25 billion euros from the company. The market value of the machine is 29.8 billion euros.

According to TK Elevator’s website, the company’s turnover was 9.2 billion euros and adjusted operating profit was 1.4 billion euros in the fiscal year 2025. The numbers for the machine were 11.2 billion and 1.4 billion euros.
