In 2025, unprecedented income of 304 billion pesos

The private banks that operate in Mexico obtained profits last year of 304,400 million pesos, an unprecedented figure, according to the National Banking and Securities Commission.

This result was obtained in the midst of a low-dynamic economy and is equivalent to 4.3 times the total budget of the Mexican Judiciary that year, which was 70,983 million pesos.

Last January, banking institutions once again reported a record for the same month with profits of 28,364 million pesos, an annual increase of 3.7 percent.
