“Changing your mind should not be a luxury”: how tour operators are adapting their offer in the face of war in the Middle East

Gathered until this Friday on the Moroccan Riviera around the city of Tetouan in northern Morocco, French tourism professionals are gritting their teeth. And, after having managed the repatriation of several tens of thousands of customers stranded at their resorts, from the Gulf countries to those of South-East Asia, they are looking for a solution to counter cancellations and/or postponements of reservations – 15 to 25% fewer reservations compared to the usual volume and certain Gulf destinations at a complete standstill – for stays scheduled for the Easter holidays, the May bridge period and the two months summer.
