MB will pay dividends in 2025 at a total rate of 25%

According to documents prepared for the annual meeting on April 18, Military Bank (MB) plans to spend about 8,055 billion VND to distribute to shareholders, at a rate of 10%, meaning each share receives 1,000 VND. In addition, this bank will issue more than 1.2 billion additional shares to pay the remaining dividends, at a rate of 15%.

In addition to paying dividends, MB will offer existing shareholders 805 million new shares at a ratio of 10:1 in the form of buying rights, for 10,000 VND. The above purchasing rights will only be transferred once.

After issuing shares, the bank plans to sell 200 million individual shares to professional securities investors. The selling price will be agreed upon by the parties, but not lower than the book value.

If the above share issuances are completed, MB’s charter capital will increase from VND 80,549 billion to VND 102,687 billion. Currently, the bank ranks second in the system in this index.

According to MB leaders, this year’s capital increase plans are necessary to improve financial capacity, expand the network and invest more in profitable channels. In addition, this also meets safety criteria and risk management in business activities.

Regarding the business plan, MB expects pre-tax profit this year to grow about 15% compared to 2025, to VND 39,400 billion. Total assets are targeted to improve by 28%, exceeding 2 million billion VND.

Previously, in 2025, this bank recorded a pre-tax profit of VND 34,268 billion, an increase of 18.9% compared to 2024 and exceeding the yearly plan. Total assets reached more than 1.6 million billion VND, an increase of 43.1%.
