Virgin Galactic resumes tourist flights into space

Virgin Galactic has announced a limited resumption of ticket sales for commercial space flights after a two-year hiatus.

The price of one ticket has increased by 100 thousand dollars and is now $750 thousand.

The announcement of the resumption of sales came simultaneously with financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2025, which turned out to be weaker than expected. Loss per share reached 98 cents, beating estimates of 82 cents.

However, Virgin Galactic reported that the company’s second spaceplane is expected to enter service between the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027, when it plans to increase the intensity of flights.
