Haidilao hot pot restaurant chain collected more than 2,400 billion VND in Vietnam

Super Hi International – the international market operator of the Haidilao chain – achieves revenue of more than 2,400 billion VND from 17 restaurants in Vietnam by 2025.

According to Super Hi International’s annual report just submitted to the US Stock Exchange (SEC), this company achieved revenue of more than 840 million USD last year, an increase of nearly 8%. The unit operating the Haidilao hot pot restaurant chain in the international market (except China) has a pre-tax profit of about 49.5 million USD, an increase of approximately 50% compared to 2024.

Vietnam is the foreign market that brought in the 4th highest revenue last year for Super Hi International, after Singapore, the US and Malaysia. This company recorded revenue in Vietnam of more than 93.9 million USD, equivalent to more than 2,400 billion VND – an increase of nearly 7% compared to 2024. Thus, on average, the Haidilao hot pot chain earns more than 6.5 billion VND per day in Vietnam.

This hot pot chain entered the Vietnamese market in 2019 with its first restaurant at the Bitexco tower in Ho Chi Minh City. To date, Haidilao has 17 restaurants in Vietnam, including 6 establishments in Hanoi, 10 in Ho Chi Minh City and 1 in Nha Trang.

Haidilao brand was founded by Mr. Truong Dung in 1994 in Jianyang City, Sichuan Province. His hot pot restaurant quickly surpassed other restaurants in the area. From the beginning with only 4 tables, the restaurant quickly expanded to an entire floor of the building with meticulous decoration and air conditioning.

In 1998, Mr. Truong Dung opened a second restaurant. By the end of 2025, Super Hi International has 109 Haidilao restaurants in the world. This company IPOed in 2018 and also helped its founder become a USD billionaire.
