Varma’s ownership in Lumo Kodei exceeded 15 percent

Lumo Kotien according to the flagging notification issued by the employment pension insurance company Varman ownership of Lumo Kodei exceeded the 15 percent flagging limit.

On April 2, Varma’s holding in the company’s shares and votes rose to 16.20 percent of Lumon Kotie’s shares and votes. 16.20 percent corresponds to about ​44 million​ shares.

In the previous flagging announcement, Varma’s ownership was 7.83 percent. At the end of February, Varma’s ownership of Lumo Kodei was the same 7.83 percent with approximately 19.36 million shares.

According to information at the end of February, Varma would now become the second largest owner of Lumo Kotie. Previously, Varma was the third largest owner.

The big change in ownership is explained by the February agreement between Varma and Lumo Kotie, which agreed to sell Varma’s housing stock to Lumo Kotie. The purchase price was approximately EUR 900 million, and it was agreed to be paid in cash and shares issued by Lumo Kotie.
