Chairman of Vinhomes: The real estate market is entering a selective recovery phase

In the message of the Chairman of the Board of Directors in the annual report of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company just released, Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa said that in 2025, thanks to the favorable business environment and solid internal foundation, Vinhomes will continue to strengthen its position as a leading enterprise.

Last year, this investor launched 4 projects in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Long An. The company achieved converted consolidated revenue of nearly 183,100 billion VND, an increase of 29% compared to 2024 and profit after tax of 43,300 billion VND.

The head of Vinhomes said “the real estate market is forecast to enter a selective recovery phase” in 2026, with a shift towards green, sustainable, more transparent and disciplined development.

He expected the legal system to continue to remove bottlenecks and facilitate supply, but the business environment still had legal and financial challenges.

According to him, this context requires businesses to maintain high adaptive capacity. Along with that, investors need to innovate product development methods to gradually overcome risks and create competitive differences.

Chairman of Vinhomes affirmed that the core driving force of the market is real housing products, urban areas are planned in sync with green living standards. Therefore, Vinhomes will continue to complete existing projects, expand its key portfolio, as well as prioritize the development of model urban areas in Hanoi, Ha Long, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa and many other provinces and cities.

At the annual meeting next week, Vinhomes plans to submit to shareholders for approval a plan with revenue of 250,000 billion VND and profit after tax of 50,000 billion VND in 2026. These two goals increased by 62.2% and 18.7% respectively compared to last year. This is also the highest level ever for billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong’s company.

At the same time, this investor also wants to spend 24,644 billion VND (nearly 1 billion USD) to pay cash dividends to shareholders at a rate of 60% (each share receives 6,000 VND). With the 100% stock dividend payment plan, shareholders who own one share will receive one new share.

Previously, the last time Vinhomes paid dividends was in 2022. In the past three years, the company retained profits to proactively use resources for the market’s recovery or in the face of adverse developments.

In the annual report, the company also said that cumulatively over the past 15 years, they have sold 309,000 products (including apartments, villas, and townhouses), equivalent to sales of more than 1 million billion VND.

By the end of 2025, Vinhomes owns the largest land fund in the market with 29,500 hectares. However, this investor affirmed that he will continue to look for ways to expand his land fund.

In the long term, Vingroup has proposed a pioneering strategy in developing projects following the public transportation (TOD) model. At the same time, the company still maintains its plan to develop 500,000 social housing units under the Happy Home brand.
