Dutch brewer Heineken CEO Dolph van Brink said in an interview with the Financial Times that rising beer production costs are out of control and warned of the possibility of a global beer shortage.
In addition, according to van Brink, the increase in the cost of production cannot but affect the growth in prices for the final product, and it is still difficult to say how this will affect consumption volumes.
Earlier, Heineken’s direct competitor, Carlsberg, also reported a significant increase in the cost of raw materials and beer production.
