Residents of Kfar Aza will be temporarily housed in “caravillas” in Kibbutz Shefayim

Residents of Kibbutz Kfar Azah, who survived the October 7 massacre, will be left to live in Kibbutz Shefayim in the Hof Hasharon regional council, where they were evacuated, until the destroyed infrastructure is restored.

The Land Administration allowed Kibbutz Shfayim to allocate 12,000 sq.m. area to accommodate 53 “caravillas” (mobile homes of increased comfort).

The size of the houses will range from 45 to 80 sq.m., depending on the size of the evacuated family.

Work to prepare the site for the installation of the “caraville” will begin in the coming days. The Land Office exempted them from the need to obtain building permits due to special circumstances.

Negotiations are also underway with the owner of a residential building in Herzliya to accommodate kibbutz residents who do not want to stay in Shefayim.
