“We continue to implement the Open Balkans initiative to facilitate business and speed up the flow of goods. Trucks should not wait for hours at the borders, but all necessary procedures should be carried out quickly and efficiently. In this way we listen to the voice of the economy and further improve the economic environment. our country, “Mali said.
He assessed that the “Open Balkans” is of great importance for strengthening regional cooperation and strengthening economies, and added that agreements were signed within that initiative, which, in addition to facilitating trade, should also contribute to cooperation in food, phytosanitary and veterinary inspection.
Mali reminded that an agreement had been signed that would enable the introduction of a single work permit between the signatory countries, Serbia, Northern Macedonia and Albania, which would make them even more attractive to investors, who will be able to get workers from all three countries.
“We are resolving issues that plague the economy, such as waiting at borders and complicated administrative procedures, or lack of manpower. These are all things that bring a lot of benefits to all Open Balkan member states,” Mali said.
