Gulf stocks are in the red zone… and the Saudi index declines 1.45%

The majority of stocks in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries declined on Tuesday, with the exception of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Abu Dhabi market index fell 1% to 8742.22 points, with trades of 1.18 billion dirhams. The Dubai market index fell 1% to 3,986.89 points, with trades amounting to 311.22 million dirhams.

Saudi Arabia

The main market index on the Saudi Stock Exchange, TASI, fell 1.45% to 11,659.94 points, through the trading of 208.46 million shares, worth 5.34 billion riyals.

The highest increase was Cisco Holding 6.20%, Medgulf Insurance 3.98%, IAN 3.63%, FIPCO 3.01%, Saudi Restatement 1.54%.

On the other hand, the lowest decline was: Aqua Power 4.68%, Avalon Pharma 4.62%, Arabia 4.52%, Wafra 4.13%, and Sinomi Retail 4.06%.

Kuwait

In Kuwait, the general market index fell 0.31% to 7,058.29 points, through the trading of 237.83 million shares, worth 47.03 million dinars.

The highest increase was Energy House 9.09%, Arkan 8.43%, Cinema 8.35%, Al Oula 7.56%, and IFA 6.19%.

On the other hand, the decliners were Future Kid 11.92%, Unicap 7.36%, Homes 7.09%, Investments 6.95%, Real Estate 6.88%.

The Bahrain General Index fell 0.18% to 2,021.58 points, through the trading of 6.95 million shares, worth 967,916 dinars.

The highest increases were: Inovest 10%, Bahrain Cinema 9.72%, Bahrain National 0.37%, Bahrain and Kuwait 0.20%.

On the other hand, the decliners were the largest: GFH Financial Group 5.17%, ABM Terminals Bahrain 3.23%, Solidarity Bahrain BSC 1.56%, and Zain Bahrain 0.78%.

Qatar

The Qatar Stock Exchange index fell 0.48% to 9,376 points, and market trading volume reached approximately 398 million riyals.

The highest increase was: Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance 5.85%, Qatar Islamic Bank 3.18%, Doha Insurance 1.73%, Qatar and Oman Investment 1.48%, and Widam Food Company 1.17%.

On the other hand, the largest decline was Qatari German Medical Supplies 2.54%, Gulf Takaful Insurance 1.98%, Qatar Insurance 1.54%, Investment Holding 1.28%, and Qatar Fuel 1.16%.

Sultanate of Oman

The Muscat Stock Exchange index rose 0.81% to 4,829.148 points, through the trading of 36.08 million shares, worth 7.05 million riyals.

The highest increase was: National Bank 7.19%, Oman Cables Industry 3.85%, Oman International Development and Investment (Ominvest) 2.90%, Oman Arab Bank 2.82%, Al Batinah Energy 2.67%.

On the other hand, the largest decline was: Dhofar Beverages and Foodstuffs 9.61%, Muscat Desalination City 3.90%, Oman Cement 3.90%, National Gas 2.53%, and Al Maha Ceramics 2.35%.

Outside the Gulf region, the Egyptian Stock Exchange index “EGX 30” fell 0.34% to 27,194.51 points.
