100 km/h in less than 3 seconds – the Cyber-Hummer has 1,000 horsepower and weighs 907 kg less than the official electric Hummer

Canadian North American Electric Vehicles (NAEV) says that it will manufacture and start selling this summer a fully electric conversion based on the old original H1 Hummer, i.e. the legendary Humvee.

It calls the car the Cyber-Hummer. The production target is 328 cars per year. The product is pretty awesome.

With a list price of $139,900, the Executive model has two engines and 1,000 horsepower. From zero to 60 miles, i.e. a little under 100 kilometers per hour, the monster SUV accelerates in 2.5 seconds.

The lineup also includes $119,900 600-horsepower and $98,900 300-horsepower versions.

Tesla’s 75 kilowatt-hour battery pack is planted in the middle of a ladder frame that exceeds military-grade off-road capabilities.

NAEV states that the car’s operating range is 482 kilometers at best. It’s hard to believe, when the average consumption would have to reach the 15.6 kWh/100 km category typical for a standard electric passenger car.

However, a massive weight-saving regimen speaks in favor of low consumption. Founder of NAEV Jeffrey Kotulak told Green Car Reportsille despite the increase in the manufacturer’s battery, the shock absorption and axles were modified, the exhaust pipe, internal combustion engine, gearbox and fuel system were removed, and with that, approximately 1,639 kilograms were removed from the car’s original mass of 3,680 kilograms.

There are seats in two rows, for six people. There is 38 centimeters of ground clearance. Off-road tires with a total diameter of 37 inches wrapped around 20-inch rims spin below.

Kotulak says that the car is a real eco product, because in addition to the new electric power line, the car’s blanks are recycled. The company gives its product a full “bumper to bumper” warranty.
