The Ministry of Finance announced the resumption of additional payments from the state to new workers entering the construction industry.
Between July and December, new workers will receive NIS 2,000 a month from the government in addition to their first four months’ salary, and NIS 3,000 in the fifth and sixth months.
For certain types of work, such as concrete laying, the additional payment will be NIS 3,000 and NIS 4,500 respectively.
Unlike the previous program, the new one will also apply to the repair industry, and not just the construction industry.
Let us recall that in November 2023, the program offered 3,000 shekels in additional payments for the first two months and 4,000 shekels for the third month.
