Infineon CEO Herlitschka to join ÖBAG supervisory board

Sabine Herlitschka, CEO von Infineon Austria,should be in the Supervisory Board of the state holding company ÖBAG.

On Friday, the general meeting, i.e. the Republic as 100 percent owner of ÖBAG, will elect Herlitschka to the supervisory board, reports the Kronen Newspaper and refers to industry circles.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board remains Vienna Airport Board Member Günther Ofner.

Only on Tuesday it was announced that Günther Ofner and Julian Jaeger Board members of the listed Flughafen Wien AG remain. Their contracts were extended early.

Ofner’s contract runs for another three years until September 30, 2028, Jäger’s contract for another five years until September 30, 2030. Ofner, who is considered to be close to public transport, and Jäger, who is considered to be close to the SP, took over the leadership in 2011.

Österreichische Beteiligungs AG, or ÖBAG for short, manages the Republic of Austria’s investments in several listed companies, such as OMV, Post, Telekom and Casinos Austria.

The company emerged in 2019 from the Austrian Federal and Industrial Participations GmbH (ÖBIB), which in turn emerged in 2015 from the Austrian Industrial Holding Aktiengesellschaft (ÖIAG).
