3.7 million passengers to pass through Ben Gurion Airport in July-August

According to the Airports Authority, 3.7 million passengers are expected to pass through Israel’s main airport in July-August 2024 – 1.8 million in July and 1.9 million in August.

On peak days, 60-70 thousand passengers and more than 400 flights will pass through the airport.

During the summer months, Ben Gurion Airport will host approximately 50 international airlines in addition to Israeli airlines. It will be possible to fly from Israel to approximately 100 destinations.

The most popular countries are Greece, Cyprus, Italy, USA and UAE. There will be more than 4,250 flights to and from Greece alone in two months. About 2,100 flights will serve routes to Cyprus.
