Gulf stocks mixed in first July session

GCC stocks posted mixed performance in the first session of July, Monday.

In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi market fell by 0.008% to 9060.02 points, with trading amounting to 1.098 billion dirhams, while the Dubai market index rose by 0.671% to 4057.04 points, with trading amounting to 335.69 million dirhams.

In Saudi Arabia, the main market index “TASI” fell 0.18% to 11,658.53 points, through trading 273.67 million shares worth 7.336 billion riyals.

The general market index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange rose by 0.09%, to 6943.01 points. The volume of traded shares reached 126 million shares, with a total value of 34.5 million dinars, as a result of executing 11539 cash transactions.

The Qatar Stock Exchange index fell by 0.42% to 10,006.52 points, and the trading volume in the market amounted to approximately 404 million riyals.

The Bahrain All Share Index fell by 0.41% to 2,017.15 points, through trading of 774,648 shares worth 437,410 dinars.

Muscat Stock Exchange index rose 0.19% to 4,696.024 points, through 15.53 million shares worth 2.33 million riyals.

Outside the Gulf region, the Egyptian Stock Exchange index “EGX 30” rose 0.73% to 27,969.59 points.
