Gulf stocks’ performance varies…and the Saudi index declines

GCC stocks were mixed on Wednesday. In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange rose 0.066% to 9,093.83 points, with trades worth Dh1.33 billion. The Dubai Financial Market Index rose 0.393% to 4,079.21 points, with trades worth Dh426.71 million.

The main Saudi stock index “Tadawul” decreased by 0.09% to 11595.20 points, with trading valued at 4.9 billion riyals. The volume of traded shares reached 225 million shares.

The Kuwait Stock Exchange’s general market index rose 0.22% to 6,952.61 points. The volume of traded shares reached 116.3 million shares through 10,232 cash transactions, worth 33.17 million dinars.

The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 0.47% to 10,053 points. During the session, 105.302 million shares were traded, worth 350.784 million riyals, as a result of executing 14,669 deals in all sectors.

The Bahrain All Share Index fell by 0.46% to 2006.41 points. The volume of traded shares reached 980,160 shares with a total value of 317,621 dinars, executed through 63 transactions.

Muscat Stock Exchange 30 index rose 0.02% to 4685.15 points. Trading value reached 1.597 million riyals.

Outside the Gulf region, the main stock market index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX 30) rose by 0.63% to 28,161.17 points.
