Gulf stocks’ performance varies…and the Saudi index rises slightly

GCC stocks mixed on Wednesday.

In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index rose 0.03% to 9,138.45 points, while the Dubai Securities Exchange index rose 0.04% to 4,080.22 points.

In Saudi Arabia, the main Saudi stock index, “Tadawul”, rose 0.04% to 11,784.09 points, with trading valued at 5.1 billion riyals and the volume of traded shares amounting to 211 million shares.

The general market index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange fell by 0.30% to 7060.17 points. The volume of traded shares reached 179.8 million shares, worth 40.6 million dinars, as a result of executing 11925 cash transactions.

The Bahrain All Share Index fell 0.26% to 1994.56 points. The volume of traded shares reached 2.42 million shares, worth 377,151 dinars, executed through 74 transactions.

The Qatar Stock Exchange index fell 0.04% to 10,161.60 points. During the session, 157.58 million shares were traded, worth 508.45 million riyals, as a result of executing 19,310 deals.

Muscat Stock Exchange 30 index rose 0.11% to 4695.58 points. Trading value reached 2.27 million riyals.

Outside the Gulf region, Egypt’s main stock market index (EGX 30) fell 0.63% to 28,287.98 points.
