Gulf stocks mixed in first session of the week

The performance of stocks in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries varied on Sunday, in the first session of the week.

While the UAE markets were closed, the main market index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (TASI) rose 0.12% to 12,202.93 points, with trading of 6.38 billion riyals.

In Kuwait, the general market index fell by 0.42% to 7,072.23 points, through trading of 103.63 million shares worth 26.64 million dinars.

The Bahrain All Share Index fell by 0.97% to 1,960.31 points, through trading of 1.91 million shares worth 619,341 dinars.

In Qatar, the stock market index rose 0.26% to 10,060.21 points, with trading amounting to 260.30 million riyals.

In the Sultanate of Oman, the Muscat Stock Exchange 30 index fell by 0.31% to 4682.80 points. The value of trading reached 2.267 million riyals.

Outside the Gulf region, the main market index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, EGX 30, rose by 0.45%, reaching 28,783.24 points.
