Most stocks in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries rose on Tuesday, except for Kuwait.
In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index rose 0.123% to 9,316.79 points. The Dubai Financial Market index rose 0.41% to 4,254.87 points.
In Saudi Arabia, the main market index “TASI” rose 0.67% to 12,103.82 points, through trading 349.49 million shares worth 8.74 billion riyals.
The Kuwait Stock Exchange General Index fell 0.13% to 7,117.68 points.
During the session, 225.14 million shares were traded, worth 44.54 million dinars.
In Bahrain, the Bahrain All Share Index rose 0.07% to 1,935.87 points, through trading of 629,398 shares, worth 119,026 dinars.
The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 0.03% to 10,158.57 points. During the session, 101.843 million shares were traded, worth 272.087 million riyals, as a result of executing 11,948 transactions.
In the Sultanate of Oman, the Muscat Stock Exchange 30 index rose 0.42% to 4693.07 points. The trading value reached 1.495 million riyals.
Outside the Gulf region, Egypt’s main stock market index, EGX 30, rose 2.03% to 29,915.24 points.
