The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) presented seven translations into indigenous languages (Rarámuri, Amuzgo, Nahuatl, Tlapaneco, Tu’un Savi (Mixtec), Otomi and Mayan) of the Cybersecurity guide for girls, boys and adolescents, with which it seeks to make available to said population the identification of the main digital risks and threats to which they may be exposed access to digital devices, networks, content and applications

It also provides recommendations to protect against cyber threats such as malicious code or malware; social engineering; cyberbullying or ciberbullyingand the grooming o sexting”.
According to a statement from the agency, This action seeks to strengthen the cybersecurity capabilities of users who belong to indigenous communities through useful and practical resources that allow them to make safe, responsible and positive use of telecommunications services, the Internet and digital technologies.

The document also states that: It seeks to advance in closing the digital divide, create a more inclusive, safe and responsible culture and promote confidence in the use and appropriation of new digital tools for positive and productive purposes.
