Sean “Diddy” Combs, accused of human trafficking, has his appeal rejected, remains behind bars until his trial

Combs was arrested Monday.

Hiphop-mogul Sean “Diddy” Combsin attorneys’ appeal to have Combs held without bail has been dismissed, they said news channel CNN and news agency AFP.

That means Combs will remain in custody until his trial.

The decision to incarcerate Combs was made on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Combs’ attorneys tried to convince a judge to overturn the arrest warrant by introducing a new “bail package” against which Combs could be released pending trial.

However, the judge ruled that the package did not provide the necessary guarantees that Combs would return to justice if he were now released.

Combs is accused of illegal business and human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

He is even threatened with a life sentence. Combs has denied the charges.
