“Love is in the meadow”: Gillou asks for “an exemption to keep the two women”

Gillou, one of the most emblematic figures of this season 19 of “L’Amour est dans le pré”, no longer knows where to turn. This cheeky bachelor signed up for the show with one of his best friends, Renaud. A first in the program. Recently widowed, after losing his wife to cancer, this lover of “trut” (a card game), Johnny Hallyday and karaoke evenings, is therefore determined to find a little “buddy” so that he can no longer live alone.

After incredible speed dating where his loud words took all their place, the cow breeder made his choice. He invited Marie to the farm, a little blonde with a lilting Southern accent, and Isabelle, more reserved at first but who hid her game well. In a previous episode, the sixty-year-old had stolen a kiss from the farmer, one evening before going to bed. A gesture of tenderness which really exhilarated the latter.

While the balance of preferences seemed to tip in favor of her, episode 7 broadcast this Monday evening on M 6 blew everything away.

At the table, the retired breeder lives up to his reputation by making joke after joke. “I requested an exemption to keep the two women, I am waiting for the result,” he laughs. “He finds a solution to everything,” his friend retorts. “I can only do you good,” adds Gillou. In the night, I can intervene, if there is a fire in the pajamas.” Sickness that provokes bursts of laughter but also tenderness. “Through the antics, I felt like a sensitive person,” says Isabelle at the end of the meal. And there is no chance but only meetings…”

A long tunnel follows, where the retired blonde tries to better present herself. But he loses the one he loves a little, who seems to be bored. Finally, when it’s time to say “goodbye”, Gillou shifts into second gear. The camera discreetly films his hand caressing Marie’s back, to her greatest pleasure. “We got a little closer physically and afterward, even in speaking, even in mentality, there was a change,” she confides.

As for the coveted bachelor, he remains in his style and admits to having changed his mind: “I took a step back from Isabelle, I don’t want to say more because that’s the rest for me , it’s not for television.” Continued in the next episode…
