Young adult author Davide Morosinotto: “If we wait, they will stop reading”

Davide Morosinotto lived like a Stone Age hunter, learned sword fighting and visited shamans for his bestsellers for young people. Meeting someone who knows how to get children to read.

A Chinese privateer in the 19th century, a hunter in the Stone Age, a young man who witnesses the Hun attack on his Roman village. Davide Morosinotto writes very special young adult books full of adventure and rich colors, about characters and worlds that couldn’t be more different. With them he brought Italian children’s and youth literature new to the attention of the German book market. He is currently working on a book about Kaspar Hauser, which will be published next fall. At the book fair in Bologna, a tall, lanky, young-looking man appears at the meeting point in a quiet corner between the walls of the fair.
