“Frosted” in Paris: illusionist Gus transports the public to the mountains and innovates with mischief

His capital sympathy has not aged a bit in his new show, “Givré”. Gus is still so funny, magical and crazy. At the Palais des Glaces in Paris (10th arrondissement), the illusionist talks to us about his passion for skiing, while recounting his car journeys, with his three sisters nicknamed Adolf, Vladimir and Kim. He comes out with dozens of CDs from who knows where, which extend brilliantly from his fingers, like Florian Sainvet, a specialist in handling CDs.

Magic performances that work are no longer a succession of tricks that you can see on the Internet or at galas. They tell a story, in a rhythmic setting. And, in this matter, the Gus signature is successful. It evokes the “compils” (old sisters of playlists) passed in the car on the road to winter vacation.
