The famous film music composer Hans Zimmer, winner of two Oscars and responsible for the soundtracks of titles such as Dune, Interstellar or El Código Da Vinci, will offer a concert before 3,000 poor people in the Vatican on December 7, according to a statement released by the Vatican press office, which details that the performance will take place within the framework of the ‘Concert with the poor’.

In this way, nearly 3,000 poor people are cared for daily by the Dicastery for the Service of Charity, also known as Apostolic Alms, which is responsible, among other tasks, for receiving, seeking and requesting voluntary donations for the charitable works of the Pontiff. , will be the “guests of honor” of this event.

At the end of the concert, the Vatican will offer these people a dinner and they will be given basic necessities. This initiative was born in 2015 when the person in charge of Apostolic Alms was Mons. Diego Ravelli. It is currently headed by Polish Cardinal Konrad Krajewski.
