The major music event Womex takes place for the second time in Finland

The music industry the major fair event Womex Worldwide Music Expo will take place in Finland in 2025. It is a major international music event that brings together an exceptionally diverse spectrum of music styles and artists from all over the world.

In total, more than 2,500 professionals from 90 countries participate each year. The most important is the versatile music program, which includes, in addition to different countries’ own musical styles and contemporary folk music, jazz, Swedish, electronic music and art music.

Womex brings together music sellers and buyers, but other members of the public can also buy concert tickets for the event.

At issue is now the second time in Womex’s 30-year history that it is organized in Finland. The last time the event was organized in Tampere in the fall of 2019. Next year, in October, the event will be held in Tampere again.

Womex is organized by the German music company Piranha Arts AG. In Tampere, the Finnish main organizer is the music company Rockadillo Production. Other partners include Music Finland, the Ministry of Education and Culture and the City of Tampere.
