Stromae is back. The star returns to the spotlight, but this time on the small screen with the broadcast of the film of his tour. The Belgian singer announced Friday October 18 that the release of Multitude, the film will take place in December 2024 and revealed the first images on his Instagram account, causing a wave of enthusiasm from his fans who had not been able to attend his concerts. « My heart stops », « We are waiting for you Maestro » can we read in the comments.

In May 2023, Stromae addressed his fans to tell them some very sad news. « I must resign myself to the fact that my health unfortunately does not allow me to continue coming to meet you for the moment. I share this news with you with great regret and deep sadness, but I must listen to my limits. Surrounded by my family, I must take the time to recover to resume, when I can, the rest of the concerts », he announced.
The tour was due to end in December 2023 and the Belgian singer still had no less than 46 dates to perform in several cities in France, Belgium, and Germany. With this film, the artist wishes « end the adventure Multitude on a better note ». In fact, more than a year after announcing the cancellation of the last dates of his tour, Stromae spoke last September to give his news.
« Your kindness and empathy, following the cancellation of the end of the tour, touched me enormously. I am aware that this situation may have disappointed some and I would have liked to end the Multitude adventure on a better note »he first wrote on his social networks, before saying more about this project which is particularly close to his heart. « This is why with my team (…), we have brought together all the existing images around the live in order to offer you the possibility of discovering the show for free or simply reliving it », had declared about the singer on Instagram before concluding with an optimist: « I hope you like the film. » It is currently unknown what the exact release date will be, and where the feature film will be available.
