Mister France: at 27, Aubois Rémi Klein will defend the chances of Champagne Ardenne

The Mister France Champagne Ardenne election was organized for the first time in Aube, in Troyes, on Saturday October 19. It was last March that Aubois Pascal Pani took over the presidency of the committee. “I used to do Miss pageants. I contacted the president of Mister France, François Deixonne, through a friend. He suggested that I relaunch the Mister France Champagne Ardenne committee, which had been at half mast for several years. We had to reassemble the committee and find partners. With the brand’s notoriety, twenty partners immediately signed up to the idea, which made it possible to create an evening worthy of Mister France,” emphasizes Pascal Pani.

A resemblance to the artist Stromae

Saturday evening at the cabaret restaurant Le Sarrail in La Chapelle-Saint-Luc, more than 150 people flocked to attend an evening rich in emotions for the 11 candidates in the running. They paraded in front of the jury, as for Miss France, in several outfits: city suit, golf outfit and underwear. After three hours of show, Aubois Rémi Klein took over from defending champion Quentin Hubert. Alongside him, were elected the 1st Dauphin, the Marnais, Clément Velle and his 2nd Dauphin, another Aubois, Dorian Cardoso. It was with surprise that Rémi Klein, 27 years old, 1m81, originally from Saint-André-les-Vergers, took on the scarf of Mister France Champagne Ardenne. His resemblance to the artist Stromae did not go unnoticed by the public during the election evening.

“I had paraded for Pascal Pani who also organizes L’Effet Aube, a non-profit association which aims to promote all Aube talents: creators, stylists, craftsmen, artists… But I was not more than tempted this to participate in what I took to be a beauty contest. When Pascal explained to me that the title holder must embody the French masculine ideal around the values ​​of kindness, integrity, charisma, elegance and open-mindedness, I decided to launch myself into the election. I’ve been doing theater for two years to get out of my comfort zone, I told myself that this was the opportunity to have an exceptional experience. I didn’t expect the title, the important thing for me was to participate,” says the young man under the proud gaze of his mother.

For him, it is a great human adventure with the 11 candidates for the election. “Today, we are sad that the adventure has ended for some. We shared some great moments together, a real friendship was created in a short time,” adds the newly elected official. The presence of Charles Stamper, Mister France 2024, during this election weekend, allowed the candidates to benefit from valuable advice while waiting for the election: stay yourself, take pleasure and enjoy “because it goes by very quickly “.

Looking for a job

After a BTS in SME management, a degree in communications and marketing, Rémi followed a work-study Master’s degree in business management until last August. Since then, he has been looking for a job in one of these fields. A nature lover, it is a cause that he is keen to defend during this year when he will travel the region.
